This beautifully designed toy is meant to challenge and support early hand control and precision. The horizontal dowel encourages independent problem-solving and invites the child to slide and guide a ring along a fixed path. The motion supports refinement of hand-eye coordination, works on crossing the midline and precision of wrist movements.

Materials

Made of solid cherry hardwood and finished with food-safe beeswax

Care Instructions

Wipe with a moist cloth as needed. Do not put under running water.

Allow to air dry and restore finish using food-safe beeswax.

Check regularly. If a piece becomes worn or damaged, set it aside.

CUBOS was founded in Edmonton, by a young mechanical engineer with a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design.
Each toy is made by hand in his 1,000-square foot shop in Edmonton, Canada.
